This oil roller is a blend I have been making for quite a few years for myself, family, friends, and clients and it is by far the one I get asked for the most and sell the most of. It works amazingly well and everyone who has used it has given me amazing feedback on it! Roll on as often as needed anywhere you are experiencing any type of pain, inflammation, cramps, swelling, injury recovery, stiffness, soreness, discomfort, bruising, growing pains etc. It is a blend of ...locally wildcrafted Arnica oil, organic CBD oil, and 9 pure essential oils of the highest quality that all have tons of powerful healing and medicinal properties. This blend is a topical analgesic (pain reliever), anti inflammatory, increases circulation, promotes detoxification and oxygenation, relieves stagnation, supports healing and cell regeneration, and is a combination of warming and cooling oils which both have different benefits. It also contains Copaiba and MCT which have their own healing benefits and can enhance the potency and increase the benefits and absorption of the other ingredients they are combined with. The heart connection and plant energetics is something I really love and feel connected to about traditional plant medicine. I want to keep learning more about local Indigenous herbalism here in Pemberton, British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest. As I have been learning more I have realized that many things regarding uses and applications of plants can be quite different from traditional Western Herbalism, Chinese Medicine, and Ayurvedic teachings which was what my origina...l education and experience was based on. I have also been fascinated to learn about traditional herbal medicine in Costa Rica from locals, elders, and medicine people that have been kind enough to share some of their knowledge and teachings with me, delving into Indigenous Rainforest Herbalism and Jungle Medicine. I love incorporating aspects from all these teachings and wisdom into my life and practice and believe there is so much to offer from all the different cultures and traditional teachings of herbalism from all over the world. This is really interesting to me. I’ve been learning more about the significance and functionality of the Vagus Nerve for the past couple years after my Osteopath told me he believed I had constriction and tension around my vagus nerve due to multiple concussions over the years. It is the longest nerve of the autonomic nervous system in the human body and comprises sensory and motor fibers. The vagus nerve is responsible for the regulation of internal organ functions, such as... digestion, heart rate, and respiratory rate, as well as vasomotor activity, and certain reflex actions, such as coughing, sneezing, swallowing, and vomiting. It also plays a vital role in the functions of most of our organs. I was suffering from insomnia, anxiety, headaches, irregular heartbeat, memory loss, focus and concentration issues, mood swings, unregulated breathing and sleep apnea that was gradually worsening, as well as a sudden onset of an extreme gag reflex to the point where I struggled heavily to swallow pills and sometimes couldn’t at all. I also realized (because we have spent winters in Costa Rica for the past couple years) that I couldn’t snorkel anymore because holding anything in my mouth would trigger a gag reflex. My osteopath told me to gargle with warm salt water for 30 seconds 5 times a day for two weeks (I had to make a chart to check off and set timers in my phone to remember this!) and it made a huge difference. The vibrations from gargling gently massage and release tension and construction around this deep, vital nerve located behind your esophagus that runs from your cranium through your torso, and it otherwise very difficult or impossible to physically and effectively stimulate. I am still learning more about this and am still working on my issues which seem to come and go and are likely also affected by other factors and variables as well.
