Sooooo incredibly grateful for this been @lil.berttt . . I’ve got to admit, I’ve never been one for being very good at having girlfriends or even long lasting friends in general. .... Personally I think it’s because I had to grow up so fast. While the girls in my school were talking about boys I was hoping my foster family would accept me. . I don’t think people really understand the system if they’ve never been in it. For example, anytime I wanted to have a sleepover with a friend I had to get a social worker to do a criminal record check on their parents and schedule it at least two weeks in advance... you can imagine what this did to my social life. . That being said, I’ve been looking for a best friend my whole life. Someone I don’t have to change or mellow down to be around. Someone who inspires me, makes me laugh, is authentic and (might I add) stylish to the friggin bone. . I’d say I have two friends like this in Vancouver (wow I’m lucky!!) @spacestef being the other one. . My gratitude for these humans goes deeper than these amazing photos.. this is a GENUINE smile.
