This is really powerful! ...Especially for empaths. It’s a beautiful thing to help others and the key is to protect your energy by learning how to hold space for others instead of taking on their hurt and what they’re going through. Protect your energy by allowing them that moment to express themselves and listen to them, don’t try to fix anything . Most of the time others don’t want you to fix anything, and it’s not your job, they just want a loving ear of a friend to hear what they’re going through and offer comfort in a way that feels good for them. And if you don’t know how to comfort them ask what can I do for you right now? Or you can ask yourself, if I was in their shoes what would I want to hear.

This is not me right now. Although I’m wearing PJ’s as I usually am in the house...I Am sick in bed for another day of rest...Day 3 to be exact...but who’s counting. *** What getting sick has made me realize: 1. Sometimes you don’t have the energy to filter you’re feelings when you’re sick...you can’t always sugar coat things that have hurt you to make other people feel good when you’re not feeling good yourself. I’ve realized that It’s okay to be the one that loses their... shit sometimes and not the one trying to reason, calm other people down, or try to watch your words when you just don’t have the energy. No one is perfect/calm/mindful all of the time. We’re human. 2. Health is a gift. I already knew this but I have been putting off a lot of things because of fear like fitness challenges I have set for myself & lifestyle changes... Not anymore. The time is now. 3. Sickness is a beautiful time of rebirth It always has been for me... I usually get sick once a year and it’s before I’m starting something really great! My body is telling me to rest, reflect, and prepare for new things and in order to do that I need to UP-LEVEL into that new version of myself. *** Let’s Stop doing, talking to, or saying things that make us feel like and start showing up for ourselves! Holy YUM Healthy pancakes YES PLEASE *** Found this recipe on @howtocountcalories by @mealplan_app and it’s delicious and healthy for our pancake lovers! ***... If you’re vegan you can use 1 tbsp of chia seeds and 3 tbsp of water as a substitution! *** Go ahead, treat ya self! *** Healthy Pancakes Serves 4(or Kaitlin & @mrryangosse ) * 2 cups oats * 1 1/4 cup of almond/coconut/oat milk * 3/4 cup water * 1 1/2 tsp baking powder * 1 banana * 1/2 tsp cinnamon * 1/4 tsp sea salt * 1 tsp vanilla extract * 2 tsp coconut oil * 1 egg or (chia substitute) *warmed up fruit for topping and tsp of honey ...then ENJOY! Today in my Morning Routine as I was writing things down about what I was grateful for and doing some affirmations I remembered why we are here on this earth... I know it was quite the epiphany *** Were here to LIVE everyday. To experience our life everyday. We’re here to enjoy what we’re doing!... Enjoy people’s company, enjoy nature, enjoy our cup of tea or coffee, sip it, feel it, notice why we like it... Things that we used to do for joy we now move through so quickly, so rushed and we forgot why we chose to them in the first place. *** Fear of death or anything for that matter, feeling anxious, scared... it’s normal! But we can’t let those fears stop us from living everyday! We’re here to fly, to be free, we have the choice to be free everyday! So choose freedom, choose to live in the moment, choose happiness, or if you’re in a sad place choose to feel the sadness and CHOOSE to work through it not to push it down and bottle it up. *** My hope on this Monday for you is to choose Joy for yourself by allowing yourself to enjoy the small things again, healthy food, conversations, a walk, your pet, kissing your loved one Watch how making small moments of joy and choosing joy everyday will transform your life!
