A new year does not mean a new you and the idea that starting a new year with a bunch of new habits and resolutions can be an overwhelming place to start and lead to early disappointments. Instead of starting off with resolutions and lots of habit changes maybe try setting an intention for yourself. In setting an intention, you resolve that you’re already enough, so you move forward without having an attachment to the outcome- it’s more about the journey. Trying to be more patient, kind, generous, etc. could be a great place to start. Wishing you all the best on your 2021 journey and remember to be kind to yourself, you are enough.

When selling you are trying to appeal to the masses, and more people can imagine themselves and their personal style with more neutral design choices. But by adding in pops of colour or interesting pieces of art you can elevate your homes design and interest level without the permanence of paint, fixtures, etc!
