In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic Kalgens owners consider our store an essential service to the community of Cambridge Bay by providing groceries, household needs and the amenities to ease the self distancing/self isolation period. Therefore, will continue with the regular hours of 5pm to 11pm daily (if our trucks are there, we will serve you). To date Kalgens has taken the safety precautions; *Closure of Airport Concession Stand *Constant wipe down of all door handle...s, machine handles, ATM machines, counters and cash registers (was always done before pandemic, but has increased) *encouraging cashiers to constantly wash hands or sanitize after every transaction However, with all these precautions the community of Cambridge Bay can help Kalgens by limiting the amount of family members entering the store at one time; if possible using debit/credit cards and not entering the store if sick or under isolation. Kalgens is also offering delivery service to those that are under isolation. Simply email [email protected] or call 983-3883 or 983-3012 with your list; we will price it out and as soon as an EMT is received we will deliver to your doorstep.
