Sapiens, by Yuval Noah Harari Random House Canada, 2014, 443 pages - One of the most important books I've read in my life. Can't recommend this book enough. An important read for our times. Starting from the first steps as homosapiens to the Internet, nothing is sacred, everything worth discussing is hammered. Couldn't put this book down.

12 Rules For Life, by Jordan B Peterson 370 pages / Random House Canada, 2018 - Overall a worthwhile read, definitely not everyone's cup of tea. (Duh!) A little too heavy on the Christian references, which would probably turn off many non Christian/religious readers. At times I felt the author was going off on tangents, but for the most part, would tie it back to the original chapter thesis. Disappointed that there weren't as many research/scientific studies referenced as I'd expected.
