I know so many of us have had a hard year this year. As 2021 is approaching quickly, I’m sure it brings up a whirlwind of emotions and reflections. I know that’s true for me. There’s so much hope in a new year and yet, if there’s one lesson I’ll be taking into 2021 it’s that 2020 showed us time and time again we are so NOT in control over much. Reality check: We won’t have everything fixed just because we have a new date on our calendars; things may still be hard, but ...remember to breathe and give yourself space and grace to feel whatever today may bring. some other 2020 lessons: we affect one another more than we realize. Even just a simple fact that our breath affects everyone around us is kind of powerful when you think about it. Masks or no masks in the future, let them remind us that we all have the power to change someone and affect them - either positively or negatively. learn to roll with the punches and how to pivot when plan A doesn’t go the way you hoped you are stronger than you think The little things are actually the big things in life - the things that truly matter look like slow, quiet evenings with your family or taking walks with your spouse or making someone feel loved by a text or call or even having your linen closet stacked with toilet paper- ya, truly the little things. live in more thankfulness day to day just a few of many things I could write on and on about from this year, but I’d love to know what this year has tight and bought YOU.

It’s the itty bitty details that always get me! If you have a session with me, you will most likely than not get a few shots documenting your babe’s tiny details that are easily missed. These sessions are my jammm I only take a certain number of newborn sessions per month to ensure I’ll be able to serve all my newborn clients as well since babies come at their own timing and all . The most fun-loving couple award goes to these two ! I had the best evening in light rain being so goofy and enjoying every second of capturing their love! Even found out I was their waitress at Jim's .. What a small world we live in.
