Please be advised that we have a fantastic CPD Credit Presentation being offered on May 4, 2017 at 4:30 pm at Fulton & Company LLP called, "First Nations Court: An Introduction and Guide to Practice. Linda Thomas will present an introduction to the recently instituted First Nations Court in Kamloops, BC. Her presentation will include an overview of the process and how the traditional roles of Judges, lawyers, and clients shift in the context of this new process. With the a...ssistance of the Honourable Judge Marchand, this CPD presentation will cover the program’s current reach, its benefits, and how it can gain long-term funding and support from the community and the government.
