To our valued customers: We have experienced a large scale business disruption by the filming company blocking West Hastings from Bute to Howe last Monday & Tuesday (Aug 7&8). Due to this, we understand many customers experienced extreme inconveniences, trying to come to and dine in at our Kamei Royale Japanese restaurant. Our staff did their best to accommodate our customers. However, with the constant changes in the filming schedule and lack of communication from the film c...rew, we at Kamei Royale equally faced frustration and distress and we sincerely apologize to our patrons who had a negative experience. We will continue to contact the City and the film crew for updated scheduling and urge cooperation. Furthermore, there will be a Marathon occurring this Friday and Saturday (Aug 11-12). Road blockage is expected to our area. Kamei Royale has been in contact with the organizers for this Marathon to provide us more information. However, we have not yet heard back from them. For those customers visiting us by vehicles, to ensure the most updated information in regards to road closures, parking and directions, please contact our restaurant at 6046878588.
