We are very happy to announce the publication of a calendar on our KCC website. It is a work in progress and we are adding new events and activities as they are presented, but our community is already working hard on how to help from home during the COVID-19 crisis. Please check it out at www.kamloopscancerconnections.ca

Good afternoon #FingerArmy... We wanted to send out a message of incredible gratitude to all of you for the support at our 4th Annual Give Cancer The Finger wra...p up party last night at Shark Club. Thank you to the amazing staff who took amazing care of us. Thank you to Peter Olsen, our fantastic emcee who helped guide us through the evening. Thank you to the ultra generous corporate sponsors who donated so much to make our evening a hit... But most notably, THANK YOU TO THE FINGER ARMY for coming out to support our goal to change Cancer care in Kamloops. Without the Army, we are but a few lonely soldiers... Together, we will change Cancer care, together we will rally together to support our brave neighbours... Together we are strong! Thank you for your overwhelming generosity in supporting our fundraising efforts. Final tally to be done, however, we believe that we have exceeded last years total!!! Thank You!!! Please add your photos from last night to the wrap up album, as we would love to see what last night was like through your eyes. We will take a few days rest, and then start to plan the next event as we continue to raise awareness for the Foundation, and continue to do the work behind the scenes to build the business case and proposal for the Cancer Supportive Care Centre. With incredible gratitude and sincerity!!! The Fingers.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Derek Strokon of GIVE CANCER THE FINGER. He is raising funds that stay locally to Kamloops to improve patient aftercare. J...oin this movement and listen to this interview to hear about Nov 28th fundraiser at the Sharks Club. "Cancer is serious, but Fundraising Shouldn't be." That is their slogan. They are creating a lot of buzz with their fundraising efforts and loving the supportive community of Kamloops!
