In early September we were so happy to have Minister of Heath Adrian Dix come to Kamloops to help celebrate the opening of the new Family Practice Learning Centre. This centre was opened due to a great need for more primary care in Kamloops, and with the cooperation of Interior Health, UBC Family Practice and the Thompson Region Division of Family Practice. Our residents now have a facility in which to hone their family practice skills under the supervision of a team of highly skilled, experienced physicians.

July 2018 saw our program grow as we welcomed 8 terrific new trainees to Kamloops. Please join us in welcoming doctors: Asim, Chen, Lai, Frank, Wellmeier, Evancio, Wege and Giolma.

Graduating class of 2018. You guys have been such an amazing team and so very great to get to know. We wish you the very best as you start your careers!
