Hi Everyone! Our next activity is our 7th Annual Amazing Race on Friday May 17(non instructional day)!! Students will start the race at 11 am from Riverside Park near the Sandman Center and will also finish that race at Riverside Park. The students will race around the city in teams of two by either running or taking city transit to complete tasks to receive their next clue. The students can race with a Canadian friend, host sibling or another international student. The c...hallenges will be either a physical, mental or food related. There will be prizes for the first four teams to complete the race. There will be a second additional trip to Kelowna to visit the Kangaroo Farm and shopping on Saturday May 25. This trip is sold out with 46 students going to this event. We wanted to offer another opportunity for all the students that were unable to attend on the first trip to Kelowna last month. The students will need to arrive to the International School 1770 Springview Place by 8:15 am. The bus will leave at 8:30 am sharp. The student cost for this trip is $30 and will be collected the day of the trip. The students will need to bring a water bottle and money to buy lunch and shop at the mall. The bus will return to the International School at 6 pm. These are some of our biggest events and our most popular, so you do not want to miss out!!!! Marianne De Ciccio
