Heading down to Kamloops SPCA today to bring the cash! I had what I thought may have been an unreasonable goal of $1000 to raise in 3 days for the SPCA to assist in the care for the 38 Daschunds they seized last week! People have amazed me yet again and have gone above and beyond to surpass this goal. Over $600 in cans and bottles were donated (thats alot of cans let me tell you 80+ bags)!! A sincere thank you to everyone who thought this was worth the effort to join in on! Ended up bringing in 60+ bags of bottles and cans to the bottle depot yesterday and have more to pick up today! Won't know the $ total for a couple days but it's looking like I may hit my goal of $1000 to donate to SPCA to aid in the costs associated with the 38 daschunds they are currently caring for. I need $500 from bottles and cans and I will personally match an equal amount! I have also had some incredible ppl donate cash and dog food for the SPCA. Every parent wants their kids to follow in their footsteps in one way or another.... anyone who knows me, knows I have exactly zero athletic, artistic or creative talent so I always wondered what my kids would take from me.
