Kamloops Truss is currently looking for an Engineered Wood Floor Designer to join our team and assist us in continuing to provide our clients with quality products, both quickly and efficiently. This position requires a detailed oriented person with construction knowledge, computer skills, a good work ethic, and a desire to learn new skills. We request that all applicants possess the following qualifications. A Technical Applied Science Diploma or equivalent experience.... Experience and knowledge of wood trusses, floor systems & beams Knowledge of current building codes Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines Ability to interpret construction plans Proficient with Microsoft Office and confident computer knowledge Strong ability to work efficiently and accurately when completing tasks Solid communication and organizational skills A friendly personality, a positive attitude and willing to work as part of a design team If you are enthusiastic about the industry and this type of position, we encourage you to contact us.
