To help you, try this : Being productive It might be easy to put off your walk when you have more urgent tasks. Multitask on your walk by using your phone to dictate your grocery list or list ideas for work.... Walk with a goal Walking can be more fun when you add a destination, like a visit to a local address in the neighborhood, to pick up a healthy meal. Listen to something entertaining Escape for a moment by listening to something you enjoy, music, audio books and podcasts. What's your favorite song to walk to or a podcast you suggest ? Our coach SP also offers private training. Here are 3 reasons why you might want this type of training... 1 You are training for something specific or you have a goal. Getting help from a personal trainer can help you create a program and a plan to make sure you’ll be at your best.... 2 Motivation!!! SP will motivate you at the start, middle and in the end toward your goal. You can't or won't go to the gym on your own and need some support. 3 You're new to training and/or CrossFit. SP will identify your needs, goals, limitations, etc. If personal training is what you're looking for, our team is available for you. But remember also that tips, supervision, motivation and help is offered/included in our regular CrossFit classes since we are proud to say our box is unique !

INSPIRATION + MOTIVATION Have you heard about 5 (by Mel Robbins) ? "If you have an instinct to act on a goal, you must physically move within 5 seconds or your brain will kill it." "If you don't start doing the things you don't feel like doing, you will wake up one year from today and be in exactly the same place." ... There's a lot to be compared here with training. Putting the workouts in your agenda and showing up to the gym can be hard for some people. So when you think you're ready to become a member in our gym, call us right away ! Also, have you ever noticed your level of motivation and your heart rate when the WOD starts with the noise of the last 3 seconds of the 10 sec countdown VS if the coach would just say : "Start when you want to"... ---- !!!!!!!

Having something small to look forward to every day or few days helps to manage stress, and that way training can have a double effect : It reduces stress by knowing you have something you like coming up AND you benefit from the production of your brain's feel-good neurotransmitters, the endorphins. When we're facing a situation that is unpleasant or out of our control (like when the gyms closed), we have 2 options : we can stay in negativity, or try to use this time to test our motivation We spend a lot of time during a week working out to get better at deadlifts, pull-ups, box jumps (and feel good and get healthier). Why not also work on a regular basis on our motivation, our ability to not quit, our skill to see the glass half full, to prove ourself that life’s changes won't push us away from our love of working out What do you think ?
