Kangen Water... (aka electrolyzed reduced water (ERW), or hydrogen water) begins as tap water. I had a chance to test & compare the Tyent ACE-13 water ionizer and the Enagic Kangen water ionizer. These were the results: This SD501 Kangen machine was pur...chased almost 2 years ago and the Tyent ACE-13 was purchased in April 2020. I compared the pH, ORP, the inlet hose size. It’s important to note that this house had a water pressure issue and the quality of the water going into the machines can also effect the results. However, both machines were put under the same scenario and tested the same way. 1) The Tyent ACE-13 and Enagic SD501 both produces 3 different type of alkaline pH waters (8.5,9.0 & 9.5). However, we can see the pH color difference between the water produced from the Kangen ionizer and the Tyent ionizer. 2) The Tyent ACE-13 has 13 titanium MESH plates and the Kangen SD501 has 7 SOLID titanium plates. We can see the difference between the ORP reading that the Kangen machine was able to produce a higher ORP reading (-369) meaning a higher dose of antioxidants compared to Tyent ionizer(-268). The higher the negative number, the better it is. 3) Finally, the size difference between both inlet hoses is very noticeable and we can see the Kangen ionizer water inlet hose is about 3X larger than Tyent ionizer.
