The events of the past year have shown all of us in the body art community how little is understood about our professions and how quickly our businesses and livelihoods can be jeopardized by not having a strong and unified voice to advocate in the Province of Manitoba. Perhaps like us, you’ve felt confusion, anxiety, and even anger at the discussions happening in government around the shutdown and re-opening of body art businesses. We collectively were not even considered for... the re-opening plan and it felt like our level of knowledge and professionalism on health and public safety was not understood. It was clear that our businesses mattered much less than others. This is not acceptable. Due to the second wave of the corona virus and in order to keep our clients, employees and our families safe during these challenging times we would like to remind everyone about shop Covid-19 policies. -Show up on time and alone. (No guests) -Please wear a face mask that covers your chin, nose and mouth at all times. ... *If you do not have a mask we will provide one. -There is a hands free hand sanitizer dispenser at the front door. Sanitize/wash your hands when you enter the shop. -Please remember social distancing with other clients and artists not working with you. If you feel sick, have been exposed to someone who is sick or exposed to covid-19 please reschedule your appointment. Following these procedures will allow your tattoo artist to focus on the work.
