Kara Johnson, 2021 Candidate for CPC National Council

Happy to do my bit in the by-elections last night when the CPC National Council took over party HQ for some phone banking. Jimmy Yu, of Montreal, and Rob Batherson, from Halifax, were among the first on the phones and set a high standard for me to try to keep up with! Best of luck to our four candidates!!!

We are aware that our members are being contacted by an outside organization. The Conservative Party has not and will never release our members’ personal in...formation to anyone. We will be issuing a Cease & Desist letter to the organization in question, demanding that they destroy the list. Admiring, with the Queen of Ottawa--Vanier, Elanor Brodie, the cool shape of our electoral district: a fish or whale, complete with tail and fin. It was a great afternoon to pitch in with the GOTV effort for tomorrow's by-election. Wishing the best of luck to the CPC candidate, Adrian Papara. He and an amazing campaign team, along with the party's Regional Organizer Bill Greenberg, with the support of many Ottawa-area conservatives, have been doing their best to turn the riding blue!

So pleased to be able to honour Shaun by sharing this most fitting tribute. May he rest in peace!

Enjoyed National Council's Sunday morning meeting with our new Leader, Andrew Scheer, who will do a fantastic job. If you look at the pictures, you might spot me!

Thank you to the army of volunteers who made all parts of our Conservative Leadership Convention 2017 such a success--whether on campaigns, at Deloitte handling ballot envelopes, on site at the convention, etc.--you make the party what it is. Don't ever forget it.
