Wishing Sensei Rhonda the HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS!!!

Karate-Do Academy 01.12.2020

Well...here we go again! First I want to apologize, I know I said we would be sending refunds to our tiny tigers classes last week. With how often these updates are coming at us and the changes we have had to implement in our other businesses as well, we just haven’t had a chance to sit down and go through it. But that is at the top of the list for tonight and tomorrow. This also applies to everyone who has prepaid for next session. You will be refunded the weeks ...we were closed early that should have been a credit. All others will automatically have a credit applied to whenever we can offer our winter session. We honestly have no idea when that is at this point but it will not be the original start date of Jan 11th as far as we can tell. In the meantime. We have open dojo for the rest of the week. And we want to say how grateful we are for all of you. We love teaching your children. We love having you in our martial arts family. We are so sad that our programs keep getting interrupted and we know it’s frustrating. Thanks for your patience and kindness See more

Hey Karate-Do families! Emails have been sent to TINY TIGERS AND LITTLE NINJAS families. For those programs, this will be the last week of classes and credits will be issued accordingly. We are crossing our fingers that winter session will be able to start on time but at this time we don't know. We find out the new restrictions when you do. Anyone in homeschool or our evening family classes (age 7+) you WILL GET AN EMAIL regarding credits for the last 3 weeks of this session ...as well as OPEN TRAINING TIMES! It took us a bit to get our regulations together and we spoke to the health inspector about what we had planned and it has been approved. So stay tuned, I promise we will let you know shortly. That being said, TONIGHT IS THE LAST NIGHT OF OFFICIAL CLASSES for this session.

Hi everyone! This is a friendly reminder that there are no classes tonight. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and we will see everyone in their scheduled classes the rest of the week.

Hello everyone! What a great first week back to class! First, I want to clarify something really quick about attendance! We have had a couple parents message and ask if their karate kid is required to stay at home if someone else in the family is feeling unwell.... Nope! Only students who shows symptoms of sickness are asked to stay at home. Siblings/parents who attend classes may still come if they are symptom free. Also, I want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding with a couple of our new guidelines!

Our favourite view! We are so excited to have our students back in the dojo. And while some of our policies look a little different for the start of this season, we hope you understand that we are trying to find a balance between those who want to return to ‘normal’ and those who may find comfort in the additional precautions. We hope to allow access to our lobby again soon because we appreciate regular communication with our karate families. Our main priority every single time is to provide the highest quality martial arts programs in the city, so we thank you for your patience as we navigate what that looks like this season.
