Launching into year 5, this homespun group of knitters, handcrafts warm wear for donation to vulnerable populations in the early throws of winter. I know-hard to think about winter. But I can think of nothing better than sitting in the shade with a cold be my & my knitting. Do you love knitting & want to contribute? All are welcome! Do you work with a community of folks who could use some warmwear this winter? Email [email protected].

Ben: With the lousy weather expected in Kingston this weekend, I happened to walk by this act of kindness. These warm hand-knitted scarves and toques are hangin...g in McBurney (Skeleton) Park with notes encouraging those who might be in need to take one. Way to look out for each other, Kingston.
