Hoping everyone is staying healthy and safe during this difficult time. Just another update, that I still remain closed. Not only because I have been ordered to stay closed, but by choice as well, to protect you: my clients, your families as well as my own. I very much look forward to seeing everyone as soon as it is safe to do so. If I can help you in any way, please do not hesitate to drop me a text!! Take care, hopefully see you soon

Firstly I would like to thank all of my clients for their support and patience over these last few months. I am writing this to clarify the announcement made the other day in regards to massage therapy being open. This announcement was a very general statement. Our governing body is not expecting RMTs to return to work if they do not feel safe to do so. They are also telling us to prioritize our clients, making sure that the benefits of massage outweigh the risks of COVID.... My first priority as a massage therapist is the safety of my family as well as my clients. In my practice most of my treatments are for wellness/maintenance and therefore not essential, especially during this time. Our governing body also has given us a list of PPE that we must adhere to, ie/ surgical grade masks, and cleaners. I have ordered these items, but it is going to be a while before they arrive, as they are going out to hospitals first. I am hoping to have my supplies in hand, the new courses we are required to take done, and my room ready to massage in early July. Please remain patient as this process is lengthy and as I stated above, your safety as well as that of my family come first. I will let you know as soon as I am able to return to practice, and hope to see you soon!

As many of you know I cancelled my trip to Florida ... In response to clients asking for appointments now that I am home, I have decided that as per the recommendations of my board as well as the safety of my clients, I will be closing the office for the next two weeks. After that time, I will reassess the situation and we will go from there. Stay safe, stay healthy... looking forward to seeing you in the near future.
