Happy International Women’s Day I am excited on International Women’s Day to announce that I have been accepted as a Liberal Nomination Candidate for the riding of Haldimand-Norfolk. I wouldn’t be where I am in the process without all of your support and encouragement. I am also very aware of the determination and perseverance of the women who have come before me! I am grateful. ... Next step. We move to the Nomination phase. Thank you for literally hundreds of offers of help and support that have poured in. There’s lots of room on our team and I look forward to working with all of you moving forward! Cheers to the incredible women in my life! This afternoon the Liberal Association was making calls all over Haldimand-Norfolk doing a check in! I love every minute I am able to listen to ideas and how you feel we should be moving forward as a community! Thanks to a great team for their hard work in starting conversations! Thank you Haldimand-Norfolk for you amazing outpouring of support over the past couple of days! Your posts, shares, likes and comments have been overwhelming, in a very good way! It leads me to believe that I made a very good decision to seek the nomination. As a reminder, I would love to hear from you about what your ideas are for Haldimand-Norfolk and what you feel are our biggest challenges! I have a great list started and have heard from my friends and colleagues in Agri...culture, business, tourism and many other sectors with ideas and suggestions. You never can tell where the genesis of an idea will appear. Together, these ideas and priorities make our message stronger and will cement the foundation and commitment to listening and engaging with our communities.
