What a fun evening of great music, food and dancing. The concert was sold out! The band was wonderful. I got to close the show with the new arrangement by Mark Cuming of my original song, Pack Up Now. Dixieland style with terrific solos! John Lindsay-Botten's singing was superb as always, and he filled in for a sick member of the Sackville Girls trio - fun was had by all! (And when I wasn't singing I got to help out in the percussion section where we always have a blast)

Sackville Concert Band Winter Cabaret is Feb 22nd 7-9 pm. $20 John Lindsay-Botten and I are the guest vocalists. The most exciting part for me is that we will be playing one of my original songs!

The Sackville Concert Band has its annual Winter Cabaret coming up on February 22nd at Dalhousie's McInnes Room, 7 -9 pm $20 I am thrilled to be singing at least one of my original songs with the band! We have more charts coming so we may do another one or two. Also performing is John Lindsay-Botten, and of course the band itself is wonderful too! It has been quite an eventful "non-musical-for-the-most-part-except-for-writing-few-new-songs" year, but I am performing again!
