Great night at the Pleasantside Community Association All Candidates Meeting tonight. So wonderful to see so many friends and neighbours out to hear the candidates.

Great afternoon chatting with many residents (albeit through the intercom) at Mountainview Co-op today. The state of Ingersoll is certainly an issue for many residents of this complex. Coordination with Coquitlam as a shared street is a must.

Wow! An unexpected, but appreciated endorsement by London Pacific! After submitting my answers to a questionnaire that had been circulated to all candidates regarding the recent Coronation Park OCP amendments, it appears that this endorser feels I am the best candidate. Here's my answer to the questionnaire: I fully support the current land use plan for Coronation Park as it makes sense that the older single-family neighbourhood is redeveloped to provide more types of housi...ng, the inclusion of commercial/retail green space and the easy access to rapid transit options. This will create a more diverse neighbourhood and will increase not only our housing stock, but will provide a mix so people of all economic ranges can live in Port Moody. The increase in housing we provide in TOD’s will also take the load off of our road network, which is needed as well as reduce reliance on single-use car trips. The OCP and Corporate Policy to prioritize development in TOD’s is one that absolutely makes sense, and should I be elected again I would completely support this initiative.
