Karen's Critter Care 14.01.2021

I started looking after other’s pets in 2017, on a casual basis. In 2019 I made it official. Pet sitting kind of fell into my lap, and I really enjoy doing it! I love getting exercise by walking dogs, and of course playing with pets is always fun. I live in Halifax, and I can travel to anywhere in Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Lower Sackville, and Herring Cove. If you live further away, we can make travel arrangements. I started out by looking after George (profile pic), t...hen word got out, and suddenly I had a few clients. I sometimes call him King George because everyone who sees him on the street loves him. I took the St. John Ambulance Pet First Aid course, which was very informative. I have experience giving pets pills (in a pill pocket). I also used to give insulin shots to the family cat years ago. Please contact me to find out more about my services. I can do 1 visit a day, 2 visits a day, or stay overnight in your place while you are away. I also offer a house cleaning service if I am in your place for a week or more. I’m told it’s quite nice to come home to relaxed pets, and a clean house. :-) Please note: on overnight bookings of 5 days or more, I require a $100 deposit, which becomes non-refundable on the first day. Sorry, cancellations have changed my plans too many times.

**PLEASE NOTE THIS ANIMAL IS NOT UP FOR ADOPTION!** Yesterday we had our first ever Highland Lynx come in! Loch Ness or Nessie for short is a deliberate cross b...etween the Desert Lynx and the Jungle Curl breeds. He is 13 weeks old, is polydactyl (has extra toes) and he will be about 28lbs when fully grown! The Highland Lynx is fond of water so they make excellent swimmers, and he came from Liverpool! Thank you to Nessies owner for letting us share their unique and beautiful feline! See more
