Well here we go again! A closed shop full of brand new arrivals, so many invoices to pay and I am walking around the country side taking pictures of birds! Not so. There is so much to do behind the scenes of a retail store! The job really never ends. The spring clothing collections are being added to the website today and we are still receiving plants for our little plant store opening in May. They need lots of care. I will be updating the varieties to purchase online in the next couple of days for curbside pick up. This little guy was stuck hanging off the David Street Bridge for hours yesterday. We were determined to help him as it was a couple hundred feet down into the Irvine river if he let go. He was exhausted and scared. We tried everything but he would not budge and was too big to fit through the concrete opening. Finally after getting in touch with a couple of local off duty firemen, they managed to lift him from the back of the bridge with a net. Lucky guy gave us a look of gratitude then scurried away.
