We have reached a new milestone! The 40 Hot Meal Project has raised over $50,000 in sponsorship, that is just over 4,800 meals that have gone out to those in n...eed of a hot, hearty dinner. This is truly amazing!!! Torrey will be updating with a video this week, we've been keeping him busy so he hasn't had a moment to sit down and collect his thoughts. Today was the Bank of Canada's first rate announcement of the year. Although there was some speculation of a micro rate drop, the bank has decided to hold the rate. Next rate announcement will be in March. https://www.bankofcanada.ca//01/fad-press-release-2021-01/

Let's talk credit cards! If you have any type of 'rewards' card, then you are most likely paying a high rate on your credit card. This means you should NEVER be carrying a balance. If you pay off your credit card each month, then yes, the rewards can pay off! If you find yourself carrying a balance, call your credit card company and ask them to switch you to their lowest interest rate credit card. You can save hundreds of dollars in interest and pay off your credit cards much quicker!
