Nanaimo RCMP searching for missing 17-year-old The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in locating 17-year-old Jada Charlie-Carlson. Jada has n...ot been seen by her family members for approximately one month which is out of character for her. Although Jada lives independently, her family is concerned with her lifestyle choices and the length of time that they have not heard from her. As a result, they’re concerned for her safety and well-being. Jada is an Indigenous female, 5 ft. 2, 115 pounds, with long brown hair that she often lightens with highlights. She was seen this morning by staff of a youth shelter here in Victoria. Because she had been seen the police no longer consider her a missing person and have now closed the file. She is still on the streets!!!!!!!!! Please if you see her message myself right away! The police are no longer helping me save my daughters life!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATE Late last night i received a phone call to update me on the most recent information. Yesterday afternoon she overdoesed again. She was at a Inn with an older male and overdoesed again. This time an ambulance was called and she was treated on scene. She refused to identify herself to paramedics and told them she was 20 years old. She was not taken to hospital for treatment. By the time all the dots were crossed and the police and other teams involved realized it was her she was gone again. She is still missing. ORIGINAL POST My daughter Lia (Madison Hutton) Barker is currently missing. She has just returned home from completing a 6 month drug and alcohol treatment program and on friday she relapsed. She took off from home after being released from Victoria General while still high and has not been seen since 10:30pm that evening. She is believed to be in the downtown Victoria area but also frequents the Westshore area. If you see her please call Victoria Police!
