Happy Thanksgiving. Kate and I zipped out for a mini session with Art as photographer. (I couldn't convince the rest of the kiddos to dress up in the matching attire). I am thankful beyond measure to be this little girls mom. She has overcome so many big challenges these last couple of months and I can see her gaining confidence and slowly trying some independence.

This was fun. Catching up with a highschool friend and hanging out with her family. The kids didn't actually want to do the photo thing but then they had all these cool ideas... My kind of session.

Our family. I still can't believe we have a grade 8er in our house. He is going to the same high school as I did and it brings back all kinds of memories. A grade 6er, grader 3er and then my little girl started Kindergarten this year. Truly we have so much to be thankful for. So many of our prayers have been answered even though this year has been marked with uncertainty. God has showered us with grace upon grace and mercy upon mercy.

Welcome to the world little Miss Ellie. A sweet girlie with dark blue eyes, dark locks and those adorable forehead wrinkles.

I love these side by sides of couples, siblings, friends or whatever relationship is important.

Gets better every year!

She loved the camera this year! I always say come and have photos every year if you can. It gets easier: the planning, outfit selection etc. The biggest bonus is that the kids know what to expect and the parents can relax and have a bit of fun with it.
