RETIRING (no, it’s not an April Fool’s Joke!) To all our Customers, When we decided to make Squamish our home 20 years ago and open the kitchen store 17 years ago, we were far from imagining we would be part of your lives the way we have been.... We have witnessed couples getting married, babies being born, children growing, (some of them with a great passion for food becoming professional or amateur chefs!), some of you getting a divorce and needing to replace all your kitchen gears (yep, that happens), grand-children learning how to bake with grandmas and, unfortunately, some friends leaving forever. We had some fun holding cooking classes and have fond memories of organizing the cooking shows held at the Adventure Centre before the 2010 Olympics. The present circumstances of retail, our lease expiring and personal matters have led us to make the decision to retire at this time. George will keep servicing your knives in a new location in the industrial area and Karin will take some time to think about her next challenge. It’s been our pleasure and honour to provide you with all your kitchen needs for all these years and we wouldn’t have been able to do it without some help from our staff. So, we want to take the time to thank them all: Linda G, Linda O, Faye, Dave, Tammy, Candice, Brenda and especially Zdena who has been by our side for 15 years.
