It’s Makeup Monday! So with wearing masks, it can be tricky to figure out makeup behind the mask. You may think, can I just wear a half a face of makeup? Will it look stupid? Is it even worth it? But I love makeup! Sound familiar? So let’s dive in, but first things first, let’s answer some of the above questions! Can you wear a half a face of makeup and it still look good? Yes! Is it even worth it? Absolutely if you love wearing it. So now that we’ve answered those questions... the next is how? Covid season is all about the eyes! That’s right, we are focusing on the eyes! So I am going to walk you through how to do just a bit of eye makeup that won’t look stupid for the moments you take your mask off! First, start with a little concealer to brighten the under eyes and prime your eyelids for shadow. Then blend it right into the skin using either a sponge or your finger tip or both. Next, set the concealer with a bit of powder so the eyeshadow glides smoothly on your eyes. Then the fun part, eyeshadow! I prefer to do a more natural look rather than a bold look as I feel it looks better when I have my mask off. So personally I pick neutral shades such as browns, taupes, creams, golds and whites. Also these neutral shades are pretty much universal for any skin tone and eye colour. So pick your favourite shades and blend away. Then add a bit of mascara to both top and bottom lashes to finish the look. Lastly, fill in your brows to your desired shape and thickness. And voila, a natural, beautiful, half face of makeup.
