Lately I’ve been on the prowl for some new camera hacks to add some more creativity to my shoots. While I have few gadgets in the mail and on their way I also have a few I tried out today on this wonderful and patient couple! I find that as I’ve been adding more creativity and props to my sessions, it’s allowed me to get more comfortable with my clients and it’s also attracted more clients! So for today’s session I incorporated a plastic bag over my lens to created a cloud affect, I got to use my new drone and I did try the ring of fire with a copper pipe buuuut I still need work with that one haha! On a side note these two were so fun to work with and so natural In front of the camera!

Here’s my year end sappy post. 2020, as much as you sucked I appreciate you. Oh how I love these 3 siblings unbreakable bond

When I think about why I love taking photos, I look at photos like this and think about that day me and my best friend Chloe Mcindoe randomly drove to the Edmonton airport, found a thistle infested field behind North America’s largest cannabis greenhouse and took some photos. I think it’s the memories that create the photo and what could be more special than that? Especially in the crazy times we’re going through right now, it’s a reminder of what it used to be like and what we’re pushing to get again! Take photos, create memories and keep fighting -K
