We can remove all green house gasses from our atmosphere produced by Canada using Karnalytes vision and unique product. Removing carbon (CO2 or its equivalent) from the atmosphere is called carbon fixing or sequestering. 16 years ago the CEO of Karnalyte Resources Inc. Mr. Robin Phinney P Eng. and Mr. Gary Derdall, Ph D of Saskatoon 1999 co-authored a paper that provided the petrochemical industry a cheap and easy solution to remove their greenhouse gasses from the atmosphere.... Carbon fixing by fertilizing the forest and commercial agricultural crops to offset the use of fossil fuels. Karnalyte now has developed KCL99 a unique water soluble 99.4% pure granular potash fertilizer ideal for fertilizing by aircraft as envisioned in his paper. The major objective of the optimization program is to test and achieve a higher potash concentration than 9.3% as set out in Karnalyte’s feasibility study which was based on laboratory dissolution tests and computer modelling. Karnalyte anticipates that any increase in potash concentration could significantly reduce projected operating costs and enhance project economics for its planned 625,000 tpy potash production facility. The Brine Production Phase consists of a hot leach...ing process to produce a concentrated potash brine solution. This is accomplished by injecting heated source water from the 500 metre deep Blairmore formation into the production cavern in the 950 metre deep Belle Plaine formation. The concentrated potash brine solution is then brought to surface and analyzed for potash concentration levels in lab facilities at the Saskatchewan Research Council. All brine generated from the optimization program is disposed of in the Company’s 1,500 metre deep disposal well. The optimization program is a critical step in the development of the Company’s Wynyard potash project, said Robin Phinney.President of Karnalyte Resources Inc. We believe it has the potential to make the already compelling economics of our project even stronger.

Robin Phinney talks about the "It recently fired up a production well at its solution mine site " open in Wynyard Saskatchewan. In new article about the potash industry from the Saskatoon Star Phoenix "Also east of Saskatoon, Karnalyte Resources is making plans based on both low production costs and a secured market for its product. It recently fired up a production well at its solution mine site near Wynyard, 190 km east of Saskatoon, for a full-scale demonstration of the ...underground leaching system. On hand for the throwing of the switch at the solution mine in early May were officials from Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd. In 2013, the Indian firm invested almost $45 million in Karnalyte for a 20 per cent stake in the company. The agreement in principle would see GSFC guarantee loans and construction costs for the proposed mine in return for secured sales of more than half the potash produced in Phase 1 or approximately 350,000 tonnes per year with options on securing more supply moving forward, and resulting in sales of up to one million tonnes per year in Phase 3. We’ve been going back and forth getting our legal documents together, and we thought it would be a good time for them to come over, says Robin Phinney, president of Karnalyte Resources. Basically, everything’s in agreement right now and we’re just waiting for our technical report updates, which we expect in the first part of June. Then we can go to our shareholders and ask them if they’d like to do the financing deal. The demonstration well will be running for the next 51/2 or six months, and if the process goes smoothly, and shareholders green-light the deal, they will be ready to begin a 24-month construction schedule after October. We’re able to make a very nice premium potash granular product that will have minimum grade of 97 per cent pure kcl (potassium chloride), and we think that’s going to be very attractive for the North American market as well. If approved, the mine will employ more than 300 people during construction, and then 100 full-time staff on site after that, with another 40 people working in the head office in Saskatoon. Phinney plans to use the success of the first mine to help Karnalyte spin off a second company to explore and exploit more resources on its 344 square-kilometre lease. He says even in the current low-price climate, Karnalyte’s operations will make money. We’re still quite financially attractive, even at these low potash prices. Our cost position was $130 per tonne, and re-doing our financials to reflect the new reality of lower gas prices and lower construction costs, is working in our favour. With our capital costs from our operations right now, we can actually attract equity and debt financing to do our project, which shows you the strength of the project, he said." http://thestarphoenix.com//future-of-potash-is-solid-despi
