We've had the idea for the last 2 year to rent the Coast Gravity Park for our Vancouver Trail Shredders mountain bike club. It finally happened, unfortunately I still wasn't allowed to ride so I took this opportunity to take photos again. Too bad it rained most of the day, I would have loved to take some action photos on the trails, who knows maybe next time.

Is the wait finally over? Could this be the camera upgrade I've been waiting for for years?

1st time checking out the already world famous CGP Backwoods Jam where a the world's best DJ Riders showed off their tricks. Not knowing what to expect and being injured I only uses my - Canon 1D mkIII with 16-35mm f/2.8 lens - Canon 40D with 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. ... Next edition I'll most likely use my 70-200mm f/2.8 lens which I had left in the car. See more

Last weekend was just a test photo session for this weekends real deal, the 2018 Backwoods Jam at the Coast Gravity Park. The top of the world DJ riders such as Brandon Semenuk, Tom van Steenbergen and last but not least Nicholi Rogatkin showed of their best tricks, some never shown before! First step : sorting 1000+ photos for further processing and editing.

Can't get closer to the action than this. What an amazing vibe at the CGP Backwoods Jam. Took over a 1000 photos got some work to do the next couple of days.
