One of my missions in this life is to make Chinese medicine, acupuncture and herbal medicine a standard of care and something all Doctors should recommend for t...heir patients. Here is an example of why : . . Today my patient ( and this is one story of many, this one being specific to gynecology) came into my office amazed. She is a fertility patient who has been suffering from very irregular cycles for years, sometimes not getting her period for months. After 4 months of treatment she has now had THREE CONSECUTIVE REGULAR CYCLES, which is not only fabulous but also means she is regularly ovulating and can start trying to conceive. THIS is something all gynecologists should know. Instead they tend to put women on the pill or send them right into IVF. . . I am not sure why there is such a gap between Western and Eastern medicine since acupuncture and Chinese herbs have been proven over and over again for thousands of years to not only be safe but also incredibly effective!
