Declutter & Refresh! I don't know about you, but in late summer I start to feel my space needs a refresh. School is just around the corner, and the fall season is coming soon, but summer is still here! Time to tackle some of these obstacles. Does your home have a "clutter" or a "catch-all" space? ... Take for instance the laundry room, it seems to carry all the things we don't use, wet-towels, items that need returning, extra boxes from Costco bulk purchases, etc. I know ours does! Unless your laundry area is a shared space, maybe it is time get rid of anything that should not be in the laundry room! Start by clearing the garbage, put donation items in your car, store the extra boxes where they can be stored away, wash the towels and put them away and add some functional and pretty accessories. Spray once a day with your favorite refreshing spray. In the family room, I know our pillows need a refresh, blankets and throws need to be swapped and out of date / tired of looking at accessories can will be sold or donated and replaced with others that are on trend. Picture frames with family photos can be changed to all black and white or all colour images - either one as long as consistent can work.
