Hi everyone, just a quick heads up that Latincouver is celebrating Latin American Heritage Month this entire month and Flamenco and Tangos Night is October 26th..., Tuesday at Performance Works on Granville Island. This is always sold out in advance and in August many people missed, so get tix nowww for that. I am teaching this Flamenco workshop at 5pm. Tango and Rosario Ancer Flamenco are doing show at 8pm and Mozaico Flamenco is on at 9pm. It’s really a fun time. Honestly, Latincouver knows how to throw a party and have dedicated themselves to bringing the arts to the people and bring the love and vibrancy back. I will never forget they were the first to invite us for first outdoor show on Granville Island last summer when all was very uncertain. This is dedication. See you there. I feel blessed to have found #flamenco as an art, culture, music, dance and life. During these pandemic times I am continually grateful that I have been able ...to #dance and share this authentic #expression with audience members and the important #multicultural organizations who have brought the arts to life in BC. Dance Centre celebrates 20 years!

Mozaico Flamenco Generations closes the Vancouver International Flamenco Festival 2021 on Sunday September 26, 7pm! On Sunday I perform with my maestro Oscar Nieto, Peter Mole on guitar, Jafelin Helten cantaora, Davide Sampaolo on cajon. Mozaico has mentored many generations of dancers and singers in this city and we are pleased to present Cyrena La Sirena, Andreana Karogiannis, Kara Wiebe and AJ Simmons this evening as we perform in memory of Victor Kolstee. Hi everyone, just a quick note that I’ll be dancing at Chai Lounge 4433 Main Street, great restaurant that has a takeout window and also social-distanced tables and protocols. Here is what it looks like inside, looks like a nice Date Night. The flamenco show is Mozaico Flamenco from 7-10pm with live guitar, song and dance. Two reservation seating times for your bubble either early or late. The famous food is the Chai Feast, soups, salad, choice of 3 dishes which include curries and vegan, rice, boulani and make sure you ask for Chocolate ecstasy. Haha! Chocolate! It’s almost Valentine’s Day.
