New Year’s Resolution: Find people who care All jokes aside, I had a magical month in December. First we spent 10 days in Cancun with my wife and kids. Then we got back just in time for the holiday festivities with the rest of our family and loved ones. 2021 was an amazing year considering the circumstances. But the biggest blessing has been the lessons the pandemic has taught us all on the importance of family and loved ones. ... Life is so short, and although it’s great to be ambitious and driven to succeed in our careers and personal goals, we can’t forget to unplug and make time to create those wonderful memories with the beautiful people we love. By giving your full undivided attention! Not with that bloody phone in your hand! Those are the memories that’ll keep our hearts warm and full of hope in challenging and uncertain times. I hope you’ve all been able to do the same this past month and although it seems like we are facing new challenges in 2022, the only thing I could say to give you some comfort is that time heals everything and this too shall pass Wishing you all a happy, healthy and prosperous 2022

It’s ok to sit in the living room of your potentially new home for a minute and check the vibe! ... I mean most people go through so much just to get their finances in order and get a mortgage pre-approved. It’s only right that you enjoy the process! P.S. Don’t forget to wipe the areas you touched with your dirty pandemic hands before you leave the house! You can enjoy the process as long as it’s safe and responsible

Everyone wants a quality built home, but when we point out things like extra insulation, or that the floor joists are above the minimum code to reduce bounce, or that the plumbing is copper instead of PEX, it rarely gets as big of a reaction as when they see a La Cornue range or a beautiful en-suite. Seems like people are more concerned with aesthetics than quality these days . This is why presentation is key and in my experience nothing sells a home faster and for money than a fresh coat of paint and proper staging! Btw, we cover the cost of repairs, painting, and staging when listing your home!

The reason I love what I do is because after 11 years in the business, I’ve learned it’s not about how many homes you sell but rather who you chose to work with. There are thousands of agents out there so when I get a call from a client who immediately starts the conversation with something like what is your commission because my cousin is a realtor and would do it for less I realize they have no interest in finding out how I can bring them value It’s the most empowering fe...eling to work with clients who truly appreciation you, which fuels your passion and keeps you positive and energetic, which will attract other like minded clients and their family and friends. This will encourage you to go above and beyond, raising your level of service quality. Learn to filter the people you work with and in the long run you’ll have an amazing client base of people for whom you’ll do anything for! The same principle can be applied to other relationships around you. That’s the secret to stay passionate

Big Exciting News! #humbled #thankful #appreciative

#TBT to my first commercial February 2018! A lot of you haven’t seen this one because I only had like 300 followers back then lol. First time doing a real production! We had the talented @laversmichael produce and direct, actress @1linda84, my best friend @torontogardenlife and I don’t remember the little girl’s name but she was the best part! We ordered pizza and attracted a bunch of neighbors to come out and chat. It was loads of fun! Since then I learned that you can’t j...ust make one commercial, you have to be consistent with content and can’t pay thousands for weekly videos so I started making them myself on my smartphone! I love the process and today I can shoot a video in less than an hour and edit it and throw it on. For me, the idea is more important than the production nowadays.

Get Me The Hell Outta Here program - The weather reminded me of this video from exactly two years ago when we only had the weather to complain about Remember even with the lockdown you can still move out of the country! Just don’t come back! Or if you wanna come back, you need a negative covid test and quarantine for 2 weeks and then we can buy you another house!... Regardless, call me for your moving needs!

Buyers need to set their expectations right if they plan on buying a house in today’s market! You have to understand what a Seller’s Marketreally means!

Pooling in my money with my dad and sister at age 16 to buy our first property, was the best financial decision of my life. Properties in Bayview Village were selling around $30k in 60s. We bought in 2000 for $350k, sold it few years later for $700k and today that same house is around $2M. You get what I’m saying? Most people don’t have investment know how to invest it anywhere else.... Real estate is an easy bet. Shelter is a basic need and population keeps growing = no brainer.

I don’t care how serious you think you are, humour is a universal language of love. People of all ages and cultures respond to humour! Wikipedia says The term derives from the humoral medicine of the ancient Greeks, which taught that the balance of fluids in the human body, known as humours (Latin: humor, "body fluid"), controlled human health and emotion... So please lighten up because we have enough serious sh*t around us....

I used to choke up in front of the camera and get all sweaty! Our generation and the ones before didn’t have an iPhone pointed in their face constantly. It’s a new behavior for us to adapt and I’ve realized we all share the same mental blocks when we think of making content. It’s a long process. I’m creating this segment to put things into perspective the way it’s helped me overcome my fears... I’ll try to make them as short and laid back as possible. This ones was a little longer than I had hoped. Feel free to share your hurdles and I’ll try to share my experience.

I’m no expert in economics but it doesn’t take an expert to see the slow and steady death of small businesses because of the new Covid rules. I don’t have the answers but I have plenty of questions as I’m sure many of you do too! What are your thoughts?
