Many postpartum parents can attest that the first two weeks after delivery can feel like a nightmare. With the numerous changes that a parent experiences (e.g. hormones, sleep patterns, feeding schedule, diaper changes, etc), those initial days are about surviving the storm. Unfortunately, for many of us, adapting to these new changes can feel like an emotional roller coaster, and we begin to experience baby blues. #mentalhealthawareness #parenting #postpartum #postpartumdepression #mentalhealthmatters To learn more, visit: https://kasishantherapy.com//working-through-the-baby-blu/

Every caregiver can appreciate the desire to be a better parent for their kids. We can also appreciate how this goal seems unachievable when we snap at our little ones after the third tantrum of the morning. The desire to be a better parent comes from good intentions; we want these tiny humans to develop into healthy adults. For those parents who are overwhelmed, fearful of screwing up, close to burn out, or just feeling generally lost, I hope this post offers you some guidance and comfort. This can happen when: 1) the relationship is not recognised, 2) the loss is not recognised, or 3) the griever’s right to grieve is not recognised.
