Project: True Blue Take a look to see this minor upgrade! Here’s another project we enjoyed taking on. Standard builder grade kitchen with zero personality; which definitely did not match our amazing clients.... We wanted to update the space as much as possible with a bit of modern flare. Out with the old laminate counters and in with new Quartz surfaces. Removed the old thermofoil doors in exchange for modern shaker , classic white uppers; paired with modern shaker blue base cabinets. The highlighted feature of this kitchen is the X panels around the breakfast bar; which brings a ton of personality and depth to this fun area! Project: Golden Globes. Classic White shaker doors, Solid Wood accents with Gold finishes. We can’t express how ecstatic we are with how this project turned out.... The custom range hood w/ wood trim, glass cabinets to the left and right, the wrap around pantry unit, encased fridge and friendly island creates the perfect flow in this new heart of the home. Project: Le Gallery Take a peak at this simple yet exquisite transformation. Condos are very limited with space and layout change. We’ve had the pleasure of tackling several condo kitchens; this is one of our favourite.... We decided to keep the same layout but modernize it and brighten it up. Modernized by doing flat doors with a higher gloss, added black square handles , quartz countertop and backsplash. Brightened the space up by doing a classic white lacquer for the doors, encasement of the fridge, added a light valence. Project: The Galloway. Check out the transformation we had the pleasure of completing for some incredible clients of ours! We had a lot of fun with this project. Sometimes you can’t open up certain spaces due to structural restrictions. Relocating the appliance in the allotted space and creating balance with the different size cabinets was our solutions to creating a new and vibrant kitchen.... One issue we encountered was the main bulkhead in the kitchen due to hvac. Typically we love to remove the bulkhead and have our cabinets run up to the ceiling. In this case we decided to place a decorative panel , that matched the doors, and have our two large fridge and pantry cabinets, manipulated at the back to hide the bulkhead. Project: Sailor’s Delight. Take a glance at this incredible transformation. By now you must be familiar with these before kitchens. Wood doors, gap to the ceiling, peninsula, floating fridge.... And you must also be familiar with what we do here at Kas Kitchens to flip these dated kitchens into new and improved gathering spots. White upper cabinets to the ceiling, finished with simple crown moulding. Hale Navy base cabinets completed with brushed gold handles and faucet; and we can’t forget the farmhouse sink that ties it all together. We’re excited how this project turned out and can see more people using the Hale Navy and keep an eye out for more gold accents in upcoming kitchens! Project: Junior In-Law Suite. We had the pleasure of working with some close friend of ours in designing, building and installing all the custom cabinetry for their gorgeous in-law suite. Let's start by taking a look at the stunning custom kitchen, with every fine detail incorporated into it. The custom hand-crafted range hood being the focal point. Shaker inspired to blend in perfectly with the rest of the kitchen. We also went with shaker style decorative end panels to ...continue the theme throughout the room. Next up, the custom built-in entertainment unit which compliments the kitchen perfectly. With a shiplap accent for the television and fireplace between gorgeous painted shelving and shaker cabinets which give an inviting atmosphere, while still flowing with the rest of the room. Project: Halo Not all kitchens have the luxury of fitting an island without tearing down a wall. Doesn’t mean you can’t utilize the space given and expand your counter space while adding storage. Create division between kitchen and eat in area, by maintaining the peninsula, but extending the cabinetry along the wall with pantry and a coffee bar.... We were able to double the storage in this simple kitchen, yet give it a grand appearance. All white cabinets and backsplash with black faucet and handles give this project a very classic look and modern atmosphere.
