The grizzly bears at the zoo both lost their mothers when they were very young cubs and have vision difficulties. With these major setbacks, they would have not survived in the wild. Thanks to the SFFPZ, these two males are now young adults who live comfortably and safely together I am painting the animals that are endangered or at risk of being endangered.
