We've had some inquiries about what in-kind donations we're taking/what we need right now. What we can always use are: - Unopened packaged foods, especially sn...acks for school lunches. - Toiletry items - shampoo, body wash, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste. - New socks and underwear, any men's sizes. Donations can be dropped off at Huron House, Monday to Friday, 9-4. Thank you!

Pasta Fest a Success! The Dante Club Sarnia hosted 2 separate PASTA FEST Dinners where $7.50 from every $15 meal ordered was donated to St. Joseph’s Hospice for... a total of 400 meals that were prepared! Curbside pickup was available for those that registered in advance and both dinners were able to be picked up while practicing social distancing. On December 8th we were presented with a cheque from Dante Club Sarnia in the amount of $3,003.45! Thank you to the Dante Club staff who made this possible and to all that took part in Pasta Fest at the Dante Club Sarnia this year in support of St. Joseph’s Hospice. Some businesses still do not take this virus serious enough. A financial security business in downtown Sarnia have gone from disinfecting every day to twice a week. How effective is this frequency of disinfection? Its not. Disinfecting twice a week for a business that is open 5 days a week serves as no benefit at all. As a customer I would not want to be entering that building. It will only take for someone to get sick before they resume 5 days a week disinfecting.
