I took 10 days away from my woodshop. Away from email. Away from social media. Away from everything thats my everyday. My dad and I spent 10 days in #HaidaGwaii. We spent 7 days on a fishing boat traveling south to the #unescoworldheritagesite SGang Gwaay on the south west coast of the islands. I spent some time connecting with my dad whos one of my biggest inspirations in life. And I also spent some time connecting with nature. Sometimes I get so caught up in my everyday I forget to stop and remember my roots--Theyre in the trees beneath me.
