A place full of childhood memories mixed with the adorableness of these two = a perfect engagement session! Anyone that knows me knows I love a good ol’ farm and the older they are, the better! So glad I got here early and was able to chat with Branden’s dad about the history of the farm and how it all came to be. From raising cattle to producing beans and renos to the house, there’s definitely been a few changes over the years. It always means so much when I’m invited to a place that holds so much value and significance. Thank you Shelby and Branden for choosing me to create in this space with you! I can’t wait to be part of your I do’s next year!

I’ve shot at many locations over the years but this has to be my new fav! This cottage has been in Mark’s family since 1917! A lot has happened over the years with Mark’s great grandfather moving the cottage itself from the top of a hill down to the waters edge, housing guests during The Great Depression and farming livestock. I love how Kayla and Mark wanted to incorporate this historic and beautiful space with their recent engagement. Creating new memories while reminiscing the old. I believe you can create long lasting memories with any space but choosing one that has significant meaning and where you feel most comfortable can really make your session shine! Beyond thankful for these two putting their trust in me to tell their love story in a place that is so near and dear to them
