Creative shoots like this my favourites. I love a shoot with purpose and possibility. Something that’s going to create a space of Self expression, bring in business for my client and impact the world because we’re translating their dreams or mission into a set of images. It lights me up

....We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

A little peak from a creative shoot yesterday. Yes, we burned a book BUT we were responsible about it - fire extinguisher at the ready!

I photographed Corey and Blake's wedding and I'll never forget that day, for two reasons..... 1. It was the most magical wedding I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot! They created their celebration and commitment to each other so beautifully and intentionally. 2. My camera broke during the reception - hello, worst nightmare! I almost puked. That's why photographers always have a backup, or two. Haha.... Anyway, this was their anniversary shoot and it was a lot of fun, as you can see!

Mountain Mystiks Fundraiser. A beautiful and heart opening community event

I'm just working on the images from the Sheep Creek Fall Equinox Gathering. This was taken just before the Sunset Agnihotra Fire Ceremony, with Caryn Kilback. Agnihotra is a healing vedic fire ritual, traditionally practiced at sunrise or sunset. During this devotional offering we chanted Mantras to invoke specific healing intentions while making offerings of ghee, dried flowers and rice to Agni -the fire being.... It was absolutely magical and going through all the photos has transported me straight back into the experience. I'm so grateful for being able to contribute to such a beautiful community.

I love it when the kids pick up the camera. Photography is such a beautiful way to express yourself.
