"We are raising money to provide justice for Betty Inocalla's murder. 50% of these funds will go towards building a stronger defense unit to prevent similar brutal killings.... The remaining 50% of funds will be used to continue Betty's legacy. Today at 7pm, a retrospective look at how Kathara Pilipino/a/x Indigenous Arts Society began back in 2002. We will feature words from Elenita Dumlao founder of Kathara Dancetheatre Collective based in Mindanao who played a pivotal role. We will hear from our performing members who have been in relationship with Bagobo lumad and there will be an opportunity for questions from the audience. You must register to watch this presentation.
