As we continue to monitor the coronavirus pandemic, House of Laser & Skincare Medical Aesthetics is also developing a safe plan for the eventual reopening of our clinic. There is no timetable for a return to business yet, but in advance here is a comprehensive framework on how we will safely serve our patients once the doors do open. * Only one practitioner will be in the clinic each day. * Staff will wear disposable masks, gloves and gowns. * All surfaces and equipment wi...ll be disinfected after every appointment. * Hand sanitizers will be readily available for staff and patient use. * Patients who do not bring their own masks will be provided with a mask. * Patients will be booked hourly with at least 15 minutes between appointments. * Patients will be asked to wait outside or in their car until their appointment time. * Outerwear and other belongings cannot be brought inside. * No walk-ins, visitors or children will be permitted in the clinic. * Patients with serious health conditions or signs of sickness should not book appointments. * Patients will receive and sign an informed treatment consent form. * Payments can only be made with banks cards or e-transfers. No cash will be accepted. Do not call or email to book appointments until we get the official go-ahead from the British Columbian Government and public health experts. We will post this information online and notify you as soon as we get a set date. We certainly look forward to seeing everyone again. How to Prepare for your Treatment: Follow a low fat diet for one day prior to your session. Avoid coffee before your session. (You may have coffee anytime afterwards.) Drink 4-8 glasses of water before your appointment (no soda or carbonated water). After Care for the next 72 hours: Maintain a low fat diet. Avoid sugar and dairy. (Low or non-fat dairy is okay.) Avoid all alcohol, acetaminophen and processed foods. Drink 2 liters of water each day. Fat elimination is accelerated by the amount of water you drink. Therefore water is a key component to eliminating the liquefied fat through the lymphatic and urinary systems. It is also very important to get 30 minutes or more of physical activity. Preferably within 6 hours after your session to help aid the lymphatic system in eliminating the fat. Continue daily for the remainder of the 72 hours.
