Over the years, as I’ve learned to dress for and appreciate cold weather I’ve been tempted to try something like this. I love the mental clarity benefit and I hear it’s not as bad as our thoughts about it would have us believe. Would you try it?
Welcome to the season of giving. In the spirit of the season our beautiful and talented Ambassador, Kathie Donovan shares a fun craft to inspire gratitude. Enjoy #bekind #givethanks
On the subject of appreciation....our hanging baskets from Rochon Gardens have been spectacular friends thus summer. I’m excited about going to the greenhouse next Spring to choose our friends for summer 2021. Given the weather forecast I may have watered them this morning for the last time.... #grateful #loveflowers #rochongardens

Happy Monday friends. How are you feeling? It’s okay to feel sad, frustrated, angry or happy. However you feel is okay. These are unusual and stressful times for sure. There are people who are alone and as this pandemic pause continues, people on their own are feeling more isolated. ... If you’re in a good place, if you’re happy then it’s important to ask how you can help someone else. Share your good however you can: a phone call, send a card in the mail, do a porch drop off. Sharing our good lifts others in ways we may never know. Now it not the time to be shy about showing how much you care. Enjoy the day
Nice slow deep inhales and exhales to bring our attention to now.....where our true power lives.

Good to remind ourselves that we’re attracting whatever frequency we’re focusing on. Is it fear or love?

It’s work worth doing, to help women see the benefits of collaboration over competition. We learn and grow together, we stand together when times are tough, we... hold space for one another and listen without needing to fix. We celebrate every little win, we understand that success isn’t measured by what’s in our bank accounts but what’s in our hearts and our intentions. The latter will take care of the former. We stay in our own lane and cheer one another on; we trust that other collaborators have our back. We remind each other to breathe and to be kind to ourselves first; we have healthy boundaries to protect the gold we have worked so hard to mine in ourselves. #werisetogether See more

Editing is a powerful tool, when it comes to relationships. Editing out a relationship doesn’t imply blame or indicate that you don’t care about someone else. Editing relationships signals to your self that you understand that you are responsible for your own happiness. It indicates that you recognize you can’t fix or save anyone. Editing out relationships that are not aligned with you, as you work on your own personal development, indicates that you love and value yourself, ...which is pure gold. Always be kind with yourself and then with everyone else.
It’s pretty clear and simple!
That inner voice we all have, reminding us of what we haven’t done and who we’re not. Let’s manage that with a reminder that we’re doing our best. Especially during this unusual time, we need encouragement. Begin with yourself; then everyone you encounter. Lead with kindness....it’s your superpower.
Who says kindness is fluffy? Who says kind people are lightweight? Time magazine takes a look at the subject from all sides. For The Secret Kindness Club VIPs you are tapping into something very important for your wellbeing and the wellbeing of those around you. Well done! If you’re not a member yet....come on over. Look for The Secret Kindness Club on Facebook and ask to join. Easy peasy.
If you’re in the National Capital region......pie season is upon us; these ladies in Osgoode do a fantastic job.
A few years ago, we were visiting my family in Wasaga Beach. We had a long walk on the beach the morning after a very windy night. Mother Nature did a beautiful job playing in the sand. I snapped quite a few photos of unusual and powerful images, including this one. After looking at it for a while, I noticed a heart just to the right of centre. So magical and beautiful......I love seeing special signs and symbols in nature. They’re signposts to say.....yup....keep going in that direction.
Hearing about my friend Michelle Valberg’s experience with mountain gorillas brings home how much we all need to double down on our respect for all creatures on this glorious planet.
This was a special Coffee Talk with a beautiful soul.
Welcome autumn and let’s go friends. #jumpin4hearthealth

You’re invited to join anytime and be inspired by the incredible community. I’m dedicated to my physio exercises to strengthen my beautiful body and I’m deeply grateful that it remembers the strength I had before I wiped out in the drug store in January. It took me a while to figure out that all I needed w...as wise guidance from a professional and in a short time, we’re making great progress.
