In the last few hours before Lockdown yesterday, I travelled up to Nottingham to capture the last minute wedding ceremony of Keeley-Joanne and Paul. They were o...riginally supposed to get married on the 20th of November but Covid once again has got in the way. I didn't think we'd be able to get this kind of photo as the ceremony was at 4pm. Thankfully the setting sun gave us this wonderful backdrop. Congratulations guys, we'll do this all again next year!! I'm going to use this post as a bit of promotion for others too. So many of us in the wedding industry are really struggling at the moment. 95% or more of the weddings didn't go ahead this year so they've been either postponed to 21 or 22. This means that those dates are not available for new bookings so many of us will be working next year without a real income,this is where the promotion comes in ;) It might be a bit strange that I'm going to promote fellow photographers, but we're all in the same boat and I see them as friends as well as competitors. Tish Scripps Photography is a wonderful and hugely talented newborn photographer (go look at her work ) We had the pleasure of being her wedding photographers as well as being mates. Stuart James Photography, his work is phenomenal, he also does a lot of great corporate work with his Emotive Eye - Corporate Photography + Videography Platinumcars, some of the nicest people in the wedding industry. Paul and his family have some beautiful cars and are always immaculately turned out and are guaranteed to make you smile and put you at ease on a stressful wedding morning :D Kathryn Matthews, beautiful cakes and a lovely person!
