This coyote was listening closely to the mice running under the snow and pouncing up and down waiting for lunch to appear. Luckily for me, he didn't catch anything.

Gray Partridge - I've always thought they were native to the prairies, but they were actually introduced/released near Calgary in 1908 and slowly made their way to Saskatchewan by 1921.

Another Red Fox, this one was willing to pose for a picture!
